Today Kate and I went down to Ghiloni Park in Marlborough. This is a good place for us to run, with large athletic fields as well as a path through the woods. I went 3 miles today, which is going to probably be a regular distance for me in the next couple of weeks as I try to get back into shape.
I had been planning on running yesterday and the day before as well, however, both of those days I ended up playing 18 holes of golf. Though we used golf carts, I still find that 18 holes takes a bit of energy, and wasn't up for running after. I'm going to try not to beat myself up over it because my excuse involved me doing something active and outdoors.
