Today I did another Spoonhill run. This consists of two loops of about 1.8 miles each. That makes for a 3.6 mile run. No watch today and I felt pretty good. The weather was cool and dry. For the first loop I wore my VFFs, and for the second loop I put on my running sneakers. As I ease back into running, I also need to ease back into wearing the VFFs, which require a completely different stride. My hope is that they strengthen my ankles and my calves enough to take pressure off my plantar fascia.
